Responsibilities
The main tasks for the Assembly Mechanic specialized in heavy equipment include:
-Accurately diagnose technical failures and performance issues on specialized heavy equipment.
-Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on cranes, diesel engines, and other industrial machinery.
-Dismantle, repair, and reassemble diesel engines while ensuring high-quality technical standards.
-Maintain a clean and safe workspace while ensuring all work complies with safety regulations.
-Document technical interventions and diagnostics using basic computer tools and software.
Qualifications
The sought-after profile for the heavy equipment assembly mechanic is:
-Education: DVS in heavy equipment mechanics or industrial mechanics (required) and automotive mechanics (asset).
-Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery.
-Key skills (asset): proficiency in Diesel systems and solid knowledge of industrial mechanics.
-Digital tools: comfortable with basic computer skills for technical documentation and diagnostics.
-Mobility: valid class 5 driver's license.
-Soft skills: Autonomy, teamwork, and attention to detail.
