Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Leadership: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium to validate complex application functionality across GUI and non-GUI environments.
- API & Integration Testing: Conduct deep-dive testing of RESTful APIs using Postman and SOAP UI to ensure seamless communication between enterprise service layers.
- Database Validation: Utilize strong SQL skills to perform backend testing, prepare complex test data sets, and validate data integrity throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Defect Engineering: Investigate and analyze defects, performing root-cause analysis in collaboration with developers and stakeholders to implement long-term solutions.
- Manual & UAT Support: Lead manual testing activities when required, including functional, integration, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify manual processes within the SDLC that are candidates for automation to improve overall organizational workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications
- QA Seniority: Minimum 5+ years of QA experience specifically on large-scale enterprise systems.
- Automation Specialist: 3+ years of dedicated experience in Automation Testing, with expert-level proficiency in Selenium UI automation.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Postman, SOAP UI, and version control systems.
- SQL Mastery: Advanced experience writing and executing SQL queries for result validation and test data setup.
- SDLC Expertise: Solid understanding of QA best practices, including test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting within structured methodologies.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
