Responsibilities
Bespoke Production: Deliver premium-graded welds on ASME Section VIII pressure tanks, heat exchangers, and separators.
High-Volume Precision: Maintain a rapid, efficient pace, consistently completing 80 inches of high-quality weld per shift without compromising standards.
Process Piping: Perform precision welding on B31.1 and B31.3 piping systems and large-diameter spools.
Modular Assembly: Contribute to the build of complex modular skid units and integrated industrial equipment.
Advanced Processes: Utilize FCAW and MIG processes to meet stringent code requirements and QC standards.
Blueprint Proficiency: Interpret complex isometric drawings and weld maps with total accuracy.
Qualifications
Accreditation: Active and valid Alberta B-Pressure Ticket is required.
Work History: 3+ years in a pressure shop environment focusing on heavy-wall pipe and vessels.
Process Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in FCAW and MIG (GMAW/MCAW).
Testing: Must be able to pass a pre-employment weld test (6-inch schedule 80).
Soft Skills: A "Safety-First" mindset and a consistently positive, professional attitude.
