We are seeking an elite, safety-minded B-Pressure Welder ready to burn rod and lay down high-volume, code-compliant welds on high-stakes builds.

Responsibilities
Lay down flawless, X-ray quality B-Pressure welds on carbon steel and specialty alloy piping assemblies.
Execute heavy-wall pipe and structural joints adhering strictly to ASME Section VIII / B31.3 and CWB standards.
Read, analyze, and build directly from complex structural blueprints, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and spool packages.
Rigorously document weld logs, heat numbers, and heat-treat records to ensure 100% QA/QC traceable compliance.
Maintain an aggressive production pace to smash project milestones without ever cutting corners on shop safety.
Work side-by-side with fitters, riggers, and quality inspectors to streamline cross-shift handoffs and workflow.
Qualifications
Mandatory Ticket: Active Alberta Journeyman Welder Certificate with a valid Alberta B-Pressure (F-Number) ticket.
Proven Track Record: At least 3+ years of code pipe welding in heavy oilfield, energy skid, or vessel fabrication environments.
Process Expertise: Expert-level capability in SMAW (stick), GMAW (mig), and MCAW (metal-core) processes (GTAW/TIG tickets are a huge plus).
Test Ready: Qualified and ready to pass a standard shop weld test (typically 6" Schedule 80 in 6G position) upon offer.
Trade Essentials: Must possess your own reliable personal vehicle for commuting to Nisku, along with standard trade hand tools and personal hood.
Safety First Mindset: Unwavering commitment to zero-incident safety culture, active hazard assessment, and proper PPE compliance.
