Responsibilities
As an Account Specialist, you are the engine that drives client value through seamless internal operations. Your primary focus will be supporting the pre- and post-binding lifecycle of insurance policies.
Relationship Management: Maintain productive communication with Account Executives, Associate AEs, and Brokers to ensure client needs are met.
Renewal Support: Actively participate in the renewal process, ensuring all documentation and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Service Excellence: Perform account servicing functions, including data management and miscellaneous office duties that support the broader brokerage team.
Operational Alignment: Work within a structured leadership model focused on Innovation, Results, and Client Value.
Workflow Coordination: Manage requests from multiple internal stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced, non-routine environment.
Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of experience within the commercial insurance industry or a high-volume professional office environment.
Language: Perfect bilingual fluency in French and English (both written and verbal) is mandatory for this Montreal-based role. This is due to communication with clients outside of Quebec.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (data import/export) and Word.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
Soft Skills: Proven ability to multi-task, react quickly to shifting priorities, and work effectively with moderate supervision.
Licensing: A Broker’s license is not required but is considered a definite asset.
