Responsibilities
- Reconcile vendor statements with the Accounts Payable sub-ledger to ensure balance accuracy.
- Manage the AP Mailbox by responding to inquiries and processing digital invoices in both English and French.
- Oversee vendor credits, ensuring they are captured and applied to outstanding balances on a timely basis.
- Liaise directly with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and administrative queries.
- Administer the expense report process, verifying authorizations and ensuring adherence to company reimbursement policies.
- Perform high-volume data entry for vendor invoices with a focus on accurate GL coding and cost allocations.
- Execute month-end support tasks, including the preparation of accrual entries and adjusting entries.
- Audit financial coding to ensure all transactions align with departmental budgets and internal controls.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all processed invoices and financial records to ensure audit readiness.
- Process daily cash receipts and update the accounting system to reflect current AR standings.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations by confirming deposits and investigating any banking irregularities.
- Generate bilingual invoices and account statements for clients, ensuring professional communication.
- Maintain AR files and records, resolving account discrepancies through proactive investigation.
- Provide ad-hoc accounting support and assist the Finance team with special projects as required.
- Conduct routine account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the trial balance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting
- Fluent in French and English
- Availability to start immediately
