Location: Supporting our client’s DT Toronto office in the Financial District - Hybrid 3 days onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM OR 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities
Empathetic Claimant Support: Serve as a primary point of contact via phone and email, handling inquiries with deep professionalism and emotional resilience, while balancing scripted compliance with a supportive, human touch.
Data Entry & Quality Assurance: Input, verify, and code complex claim details with total accuracy and zero tolerance for errors, strictly capturing highly sensitive or traumatic descriptions without personal bias.
Secure Document Management: Manage incoming/outgoing correspondence, tickets, and sensitive records—ensuring everything is processed, securely filed, and archived in compliance with strict privacy protocols.
Operations & Backlog Resolution: Tackle targeted cleanup projects to eliminate bottlenecks, analyze root causes of processing issues, and maintain momentum to accelerate claims administration.
Coaching & Reporting: Train, mentor, and supervise other support specialists on new processes while providing daily/weekly performance tracking and data reports to Senior Program Managers.
Resilience & Mental Wellness: Actively participate in regular professional debriefings and mandatory mental wellness check-ins to maintain psychological safety while handling distressing content.

Experience & Language
Communication: 1+ year of phone-based client, patient, or stakeholder relations.
Bilingualism: Fluent in French and English to serve clients outside Quebec; proficiency in an Indigenous language (e.g., Cree, Inuktitut, Ojibway) and knowledge of Indigenous culture are strong assets.
Data Entry: Proven experience working accurately with data and database systems.
Technical & Professional Skills
Software: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with VOIP/Internet phone systems is desirable.
Execution: Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal skills, strict attention to detail, and a total commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
Compliance & Sensitivities
Privacy & Compliance: Strict adherence to company policies, privacy laws, and regulatory requirements when handling confidential claimant files.
Empathetic Delivery: Ability to navigate emotionally heavy, sensitive interactions with patience, empathy, and professionalism while consistently meeting strict project timelines.
