- Hours of operation: Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities
•Load and unload packages by hand or skid using suitable material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
•Upon receiving packages, must inspect the unloaded packages for any damages or irregularities.
•Review and ensure shipment accuracy - refusal of inaccurate packages
•Maintaining clean and debris-free dock areas for a safe working environment.
•Perform backfill duties for absent coworkers
•Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
•Set up and operate high level mail equipment such as: finishing equipment in an automated high speed / high volume environment
•Perform basic digital print production
•Complete and maintain all logs and reports including month-end reports
Qualifications
•Bilingual – Fluency required in both English and French
•A good knowledge of English is required, as this role requires regular communication in English with clients and staff located in other provinces and the United States.
•Experience in customer facing role / customer service role
•Proven ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks to ensure timely completion of all activities
•Able to listen and communicate effectively
•Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
•High School Diploma or equivalent certification
•Effective organizational skills
