Job Opportunity: Operations Officer I (Bilingual)
Location: Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid)
Duration: 1-Year Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week (Core hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Compensation: $24.60

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Execute high-volume transactions accurately and on time, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Documentation Management: Filter, gate-keep, and close requests involving sensitive government documents and customer data.
Compliance & AML: Ensure all activities remain compliant with internal policies, industry regulations, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) frameworks.
Partner Engagement: Respond to internal partner requests effectively, validating information and performing adjustments within authorized levels.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and contribute to reporting or special projects that strengthen operating models.
Data Accuracy: Utilize productivity software to log deliverables and maintain meticulous records for monthly performance and quality reviews.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma.
Language: Full fluency in English and French is mandatory.
Experience: 2 years of experience in trade processing or a back-office operations environment. Experience with cash products (Loans, Deposits, Swaps, Forwards) is a significant asset.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software programs.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, a high level of quantitative/analytical ability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in banking or financial services.
Background in bookkeeping or accounting.
Familiarity with Global or WSS platforms.
Knowledge of Money Market and FX products (Spots, Forwards, Options).
