Location: Montreal, QC
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Initial training may require 5 days onsite).
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No rotation, no mandatory overtime).
Duration: 1-year contract (Extension and permanent conversion opportunities available).
Pay Rate: $27.14 / hour

Responsibilities
As an Operations Officer II, you will provide a broad range of operational support, executing general to specialized financial transactions. Your day-to-day includes:
Money Movement: Processing wire payments, electronic transfers, and Visa money transfers accurately and on time.
SLA & Compliance Management: Prioritizing your own workload to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while adhering to internal and industry regulations (including Anti-Money Laundering frameworks).
Risk Management: Investigating and escalating non-standard or high-risk activities appropriately; managing sensitive information with total confidentiality.
Process Improvement: Actively reviewing internal activities and providing ideas to elevate service quality and process efficiency.
Collaboration & Cross-Training: Partnering with teammates, cross-training on multiple internal desks, and assisting with special projects or initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements
Language: Fully bilingual in English and French (strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (experience with formulas, data entry, and pivot tables).
Experience: 1 to 2 years of overall professional experience, ideally within a trade processing, cash products (loans, deposits, swaps), or similar corporate operations environment.
Core Strengths: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to follow strict compliance procedures.
Soft Skills: A positive attitude, openness to constructive feedback/coaching, adaptability to changing processes, and a history of job stability (no frequent job-hopping).
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in banking or financial services; understanding of Money Market (MM) or Foreign Exchange (FX) products.
Emerging Tech: Experience or knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) is a strong asset.
Systems: Familiarity with Global and WSS platforms.
