Responsibilities
Client Verification & KYC: Handle inbound/outbound calls (90% telephone-based work) to confirm client personal information and perform rigorous KYC and AML validation checks.
Compliance Adherence: Ensure all transactions and client interactions align seamlessly with internal bank policies, federal regulations, and operational frameworks.
Professional Documentation: Leverage your strong business writing skills to accurately summarize client conversations, document findings, and compile files for quality control reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal AML and Compliance units to escalate high-risk activities and facilitate swift, compliant resolutions.
Performance Excellence: Meet and exceed daily service level agreements (SLAs), accuracy standards, and quality control metrics.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
Language: Fully bilingual in English and French with professional-level written and verbal communication skills.
Experience: 4–5 years of progressive experience within a banking or financial institution.
Customer Contact Experience: Proven experience in a high-volume call center, customer service, or collections environment.
Technical Compliance: Direct, hands-on experience conducting KYC checks and verifying sensitive client information.
Business Writing: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex verbal conversations into clear, structured, and professional written summaries.
Tech Savviness: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a demonstrated ability to navigate multiple complex software platforms simultaneously.
Education: Post-secondary certification or degree.
Soft Skills:
Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering accuracy under tight deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-identification skills.
