Responsibilities
Build and proactively manage a pipeline of sourcing activities, create plans to identify and recommend alternative sourcing strategies that maximize value for RBC.
Build effective and strong relationships with key stakeholders (including recruiters, recruitment managers, hiring managers, etc.) by understanding hiring requirements across stakeholder groups and decision-makers.
Identify, research, analyze, and prioritize possible new sourcing opportunities and/or process changes through knowledge of business unit, market research, and interactions with internal stakeholders.
Lead and execute complex sourcing initiatives through competitive evaluation.
Secure stakeholder support for complex decisions, including the ones that may be unpopular, high-risk, or contentious.
Embed diversity conversations in all recruitment and sourcing activities.
Conduct preliminary interviews with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioral-based interview techniques.
Provide market intelligence to the business regarding the recruitment market as well as build a pipeline/database of future talent based on networking and targeted research.
Qualifications
University degree or college diploma.
3+ years’ full life-cycle recruitment experience combined in a corporate and/or agency environment.
Advanced sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills.
Excellent relationship building skills and a consultative mindset.
Results oriented with honed multi-tasking skills.
Experience working with e-Recruitment tools (Applicant Tracking Systems, etc.) and knowledge of behavioral-based interviews.
Must be fluent in communicate with French/ English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
Nice to haves:
Commercial banking services industry recruitment experience.
Recruitment experience within the financial services industry.
Goal orientated, results driven with the ability to execute strategic direction though discovery and communication.
Deliver excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and to work effectively under pressure and meet prescribed deadlines.
Strong analytical skills.
