We are seeking a highly-skilled , Bilingual Tenior Technical Writer to support a major Federal Government Digital Content Modernization initiative.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the deployment of an enterprise-level Digital Experience Platform (DXP). You will act as an expert resource establishing content and metadata frameworks across sophisticated digital tools, specifically bridging the Adobe Ecosystem (AEM, DAM, Adobe Analytics) and the Microsoft Ecosystem (Insights, Dynamics 365, Marketing Platform). Your work will directly ensure that all digital systems are backed by clear, consistent, and fully compliant documentation that aligns with federal accessibility and publishing standards.

Responsibilities
- Standardize & Author Guides: Create, edit, and maintain bilingual content authoring guides, step-by-step user manuals, templates, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Document Analytics & Campaigns: Produce analytics interpretation guides for Microsoft Insights and Adobe Analytics, alongside process guides for marketing campaign setup, segmentation, and reporting.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all technical documentation strictly complies with Government of Canada Web Standards, the Canada.ca Content Style Guide, the Accessible Canada Act, and WCAG standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with developers, UX/UI designers, data analysts, and communications teams to validate data flows, system integrations, and documentation accuracy.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver hands-on training sessions, walkthroughs, and content migration guidance to departmental staff transitioning from legacy systems.
Qualifications
Fluently Bilingual (ENG/FRE)
Valid Secret level Security Clearance
Recent Public Sector experience as a Technical Writer
University degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Information Management, or a related Technical Writing discipline.
Experience creating, editing, and managing component-based content and metadata tagging within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM/Adobe Sites).
Experience as an SME developing and maintaining documentation/workflows within Adobe Assets’ Digital Asset Management (DAM).
Able to deliver training and coaching to resources on web content management systems.
Ability to produce high-level technical documentation, training manuals, style guides, or governance frameworks for digital publishing environments.
