Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely lift, push, pull, and stack materials weighing up to 90 lbs throughout your shift.
- Freight & Inventory: Load and unload incoming raw materials and outgoing shipments; stage products on the production floor.
- Equipment Operation: Transport stock safely using manual material handling tools (pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks).
- Quality & Safety: Conduct visual inspections of inventory for defects, log discrepancies, and maintain a hazard-free, tidy work zone.
- Team Collaboration: Follow on-site safety protocols and operational directives accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Capability: High stamina and the physical strength to continuously handle heavy loads (up to 90 lbs).
- Safety Gear: CSA-approved 6-inch steel-toe safety boots required.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of safe manual lifting techniques and ergonomic principles.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written English communication skills (English/French bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply).
- Work Ethic: Strong track record of reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Bonus: Previous warehouse, production, or heavy industrial experience is a strong asset.
