Responsibilities
Description of Work:
• Develop business requirements.
• Prepare and own the requirements management plan.
• Apply BABOK best practice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and elicit business requirements via interviews, group sessions, studies, etc.
• Evaluating existing business processes to formulate new business programs and initiatives.
• Leading process review and improvement initiatives to ensure smooth transitions.
• Coordinating with other team members in the organization to create or improve workflows.
• Work closely with QA Coordinator to create test cases for user acceptance testing.
• Conduct requirements validation sessions.
• Create flowcharts and diagrams.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience in working on large-scale migration projects with external vendors that have high complexity with multiple integrations and large impacts to multiple stakeholders.
• Process documentation and optimization including automation of manual processes.
• Experience in documenting process mapping and use cases using diagram tools such as ARIS and Lucidchart.
• Toolkit includes multiple templates and methodologies including use cases.
• Experience in documenting decision records and scope changes.
• Well versed in data migration impacts and identify requirements and challenges.
• Can perform data analysis and has strong skills in Google Sheets (Excel).
• Identifies risks and recommends mitigation strategies.
• Ensure high quality outcomes by assisting QA teams with test plans and test cases as well as working with UAT to confirm that the solution meets their requirements.
• Supports Organizational Change Management deliverables.
• Proactive at identifying potentially critical and sensitive issues and effectively proposing solutions and recommendations.
• Works well independently with little to no guidance.
• Builds strong relationships and manages expectations with vendors and multiple stakeholders at various levels within the organization including senior leaders.
• Flexible agile mindset to be able to pivot and adapt to change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and easily.
Additional Skills "Nice to Have":
• Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication
• IIBA Certified or a CBAP candidate is a benefit.
• Knowledge of the investment management back office is an asset.
