Responsibilities
âą Lead backlog management, product design strategies, and digital solution planning
âą Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and user needs
âą Define test plans, user stories, integration requirements, and product KPIs
âą Conduct user research and usability testing to validate solution effectiveness
âą Create wireframes, journey maps, personas, content structures, and UX flows
âą Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and adherence to digital government standards
âą Support testing and QA, including defect tracking, SIT/UAT planning, and feedback loops
âą Document risk mitigation strategies, user insights, product decisions, and deliverables
âą Provide expert input during solution prototyping and iteration cycles
âą Lead team communications, presentation decks, and senior leadership updates
Qualifications
Must Have â
âą5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile or hybrid environments
âąStrong knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Pivotal Tracker
âąExperience working with balanced teams (Product Owner, UX, Dev) using SCRUM
âąExperience using online collaboration tools: MIRO, Confluence, Trello, Slack, MS Teams, Zoom
âąProficiency in user research, usability testing, and accessibility (WCAG 2.0â2.1 AA)
âąKnowledge of UX/UI design principles, wireframing, and content structure
âąExperience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, InVision
âąUnderstanding of Ontario Digital Service Standards
âąStrong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have â
âąBasic knowledge of Microsoft Azure
âąExperience with government digital service delivery or trust accounting systems
âąFamiliarity with ERP, CRM, or case management platforms
