Responsibilities
• Coordinate directly with subject matter experts to gather and define complex reporting requirements.
• Work closely with the IT Governance team to validate and refine solution architectural proposals.
• Review, optimize, and update existing data marts to ensure high performance and accuracy.
• Develop and modify ETL scripts to onboard new tables and data sources.
• Design and implement efficient data pipelines within Azure Data Factory.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation to ensure smooth long-term maintenance.
• Train and transition knowledge to internal support staff for post-implementation success.
Qualifications
• Minimum of five years of experience within the last seven years developing business intelligence and analytics solutions using Informatica, SAP BusinessObjects, or Microsoft data platforms.
• Minimum of five years of experience applying data modelling principles including Kimball Dimensional Modelling.
• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience working with database technologies and scripting in Oracle or SQL Server.
• At least two years of experience mentoring and guiding other business intelligence and analytics developers.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data architecture, Azure security controls, and DevOps frameworks, supplemented by relevant certifications or experience with Denodo.
