The Captain acts as the company's representative on board, with a focus on ensuring the safety of the crew and contractors, protecting the environment, and safeguarding company assets and commercial interests. You'll be the final authority on all safety and pollution prevention matters. This role requires adherence to all relevant Canadian shipping and labor regulations, as well as internal company policies and international standards, including the ISM Code and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. This is a non-unionized management role.

◾Specialized (Advanced) Oil Tanker Endorsement
◾General Operator’s License (GOC – GMDSS)
◾Certificate of Proficiency in STCW Basic Safety
◾Certificate of Proficiency in STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
◾Certificate of Proficiency in STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
