Responsibilities
As the Training Lead, you will be accountable for the full lifecycle of the training program. Your key responsibilities will include:
Training Strategy and Delivery: Define and deliver the training scope, including needs assessments, curriculum development, and creating all materials and job aids.
Team and Vendor Management: Lead an internal team and act as the primary point of contact for the vendor's training lead.
Material Development & Review: Determine the training toolset and templates, and consult on, review, and approve all training materials developed by vendors to ensure quality and alignment with business needs.
Execution & Evaluation: Manage all training scheduling and delivery activities, including a train-the-trainer approach, skill testing, and ongoing evaluation of training effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, subject matter experts, and sustainment resources to manage review cycles, communicate expectations, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify and proactively address program risks and issues that could impact solution adoption and sustainment.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
10+ years of experience in corporate training principles and methodologies, with a strong preference for experience with large-scale organizational change initiatives.
Extensive knowledge and practical experience in developing training materials for both instructor-led and e-learning formats.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
A proven ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Strong judgment, tact, and discretion when handling sensitive and complex issues.
The ability to work in a hybrid environment, with required in-office days (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), and a willingness to travel up to 15% to other locations within Ontario.

The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in corporate training, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
