In this pivotal role, you aren’t just processing paperwork—you are the strategist who turns a stressful logistics hiccup into a seamless, world-class customer experience. If you love solving visual puzzles, analyzing data, and thriving in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we want to meet you!
- Job Title: Claims Specialist – Customer Resolution & Logistics
- Location: Mont-Saint-Grégoire (Enjoy a beautiful workspace and say goodbye to downtown traffic!)
- Status: Temporary Contract (Direct pathway to permanent hire)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (37.5 to 40 hours/week) – True work-life balance
Advantages
The Best of Both Worlds: Enjoy the power of the Randstad network (weekly pay, access to comprehensive benefits from week one) combined with the stability of a market-leading logistics giant.
Guaranteed Work-Life Balance: A fixed daytime schedule from Monday to Friday. Your evenings and weekends belong entirely to you.
A Real Career Pathway: This is not a short-term replacement. It is a structured onboarding period intended to lead directly to permanent placement.
A People-First Culture: Work alongside a close-knit, collaborative team in modern corporate offices with free on-site parking.
Competitive Compensation: An attractive hourly rate aligned with your experience, with a fast-tracked salary review upon transitioning to a permanent contract.
Responsibilities
Lead the Investigation (Analysis & Diagnosis): Meticulously analyze and cross-reference vehicle inspection reports (including before-and-after photos, GPS data, and driver logs) to verify the validity and origin of transit damage claims.
Be the Ambassador of Solutions: Take full ownership of claims submitted by private clients and dealership partners. Guide them through the process with empathy, transparency, and clear communication.
Masterful Negotiation: Evaluate repair estimates from body shops, determine financial settlements, and negotiate fair, cost-effective agreements in line with corporate guidelines.
Collaborate for Prevention: Partner closely with dispatch teams and drivers to document incidents accurately and proactively suggest operational improvements to minimize future risks.
Administrative Excellence: Maintain an impeccably organized internal CRM system, ensuring every claim file is thoroughly documented, clear, and up to date.
Qualifications
Your Superpowers:
- The Analytical Edge: You possess an elite eye for detail. You can easily spot discrepancies in photos, estimates, and logistics reports—nothing gets past you.
- Diplomacy Under Pressure: You excel at de-escalating tense situations. Your calm demeanor, active listening, and solution-driven approach turn frustrated callers into loyal advocates.
- Fluent Bilingualism (French/English): Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages are essential, as you will interact daily with clients and partners across Canada and the United States.
Your Background:
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven success in a role demanding rigorous problem-solving (e.g., corporate customer care, claims handling, insurance, logistics, or a related field).
- Tech-Savviness: Highly comfortable navigating digital environments, including the MS Office Suite (Excel) and enterprise CRM/ERP systems.
- Team Mindset: You are highly autonomous and self-motivated, yet you fundamentally understand that the biggest wins are achieved as a team.
