The Cloud Platform Analyst is responsible for the management, monitoring, optimization, and operational support of services and resources hosted on Microsoft Azure and AWS. They act as a technical expert to ensure the performance, security, availability, and governance of cloud platforms.
In addition to day-to-day operations, they play a key role in projects to implement new cloud solutions, collaborating closely with development, infrastructure, architecture, and security teams to design, deploy, and evolve the company’s technology environments.

Responsibilities
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Platform management and operations
o Administer, configure, and maintain Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure SQL, App Services, Automation, etc.).
o Monitor cloud resource performance, costs, and usage.
o Maintain and improve cloud governance (policies, tags, RBAC, operational standards).
o Actively participate in projects to implement or evolve new cloud solutions, providing technical expertise on architecture, usage patterns, and best practices.
Security and compliance
o Participate in implementing security best practices (Security Center, Defender, identity, MFA, zero trust).
o Ensure platform compliance and security, including Azure AD/Entra ID identity usage and access management.
o Apply and enforce compliance standards and corporate guidelines.
o Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities or configuration gaps.
Support and operations
o Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents related to Azure services.
o Analyze recurring incidents; recommend and deploy corrective measures.
o Participate in updates, changes, and deployments related to the cloud platform.
o Support project teams during validation, deployment, and transition-to-operations phases.
Optimization and automation
o Identify cost optimization opportunities (FinOps).
o Develop automation solutions (Azure Automation, Logic Apps, PowerShell, Bicep/Terraform).
o Contribute to cloud environment modernization (PaaS, serverless, containerization).
Collaboration and governance
o Work with developers, architects, and infrastructure and security teams. o Contribute to the evolution of cloud architecture, standards, and best practices.
o Document processes, configurations, and technical interventions.
o Act as a technical advisor during the planning and design of new solutions.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED:
• Undergraduate university degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in cloud platform management.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Understanding of IaaS and PaaS cloud services on Azure and AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and application services (Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, App Services / AWS EC2, S3, VPC).
• Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools, specifically Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, as well as the AWS equivalent (CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts: IAM, RBAC, hybrid identity, Key Vault.
• Automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep/Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Understanding of networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, firewalls, load balancers).
• Knowledge of DevOps principles (CI/CD, pipelines, Git).
• Azure and AWS certifications required.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Functional proficiency in English is essential.
