As a Machine Operator, you will ensure components are machined safely and efficiently to exact specifications. Located in a modern facility in St. Thomas, Ontario, this manufacturing & logistics position requires flexibility for day and afternoon shifts and offers a competitive wage of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, drill, or mill metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for every job.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation at all times.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Document production numbers and any equipment issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Monitor machine performance and make small adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Machine Operator or CNC Operator.
• Full schedule flexibility to work both day and afternoon shifts.
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE protocols.
• Reliable transportation to the job location in St. Thomas, Ontario.
• High school diploma or equivalent technical trade certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or in a similar production role.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret industrial blueprints.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy components safely.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
