Responsibilities
1) Develop data relating to the drawing of the part to be produced: The CNC programmer begins by examining the technical drawings or 3D models of the parts to be manufactured. Using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided design (CAD) software, it translates this information into data that the CNC machine can understand.
2) Choose the most suitable utensils and correctly set the machining parameters: The programmer selects the appropriate cutting tools for each machining operation.
3) Also configure speed, feed and depth of cut settings to ensure optimal results.
4) Generate the instruction file, in a language compatible with the control computer: The programmer creates a CNC program using a specific language (for example, G-code). This file contains the sequences of operations necessary to manufacture the part.
5) Introduce the instructions on the machine tool: Once the program is generated, the programmer transfers it to the CNC machine. It can load it via storage media (like a USB stick) or transmit it directly to the machine via a network.
6) Test the program and check the operation of the CNC machine: Before starting production, the programmer carries out tests to ensure that the program works correctly. It also monitors the machine during machining to detect any possible problems.

Must absolutely speak French
