Responsibilities
• Work with Integration Program Communications Manager and Program team on execution of Program Comms & Engagement Strategy - Coordinate org-wide messaging related to integration milestones and updates and execute on timely delivery of materials.
• Review and maintain communications standards, templates, and guidelines to support consistent messaging within the program.
• Act as program liaison to Business Readiness (BR) OCM and Comms leads. Support successful alignment and implementation of program communications.
• Create, socialize and implement communications materials in support of overall USUI program objectives. This includes sponsor communications, SteerCo Materials, Board materials, etc.
• Ensure messaging reflects the overarching narrative of the integration program, fostering clarity, alignment and trust.
• Work with Utility Public Affairs and Communications (UPAC) team to understand non-program U.S. Utility Communications requirements and reduce potential change collision.
• Track communication and engagement metrics for reporting by the BR team around Stakeholder Engagement, identify and communicate areas of potential fatigue and collaborate on solutions
• Monitor the effectiveness of communication efforts through stakeholder feedback and engagement metrics and recommend improvements.
• Support integration reporting on UPAC integration plan.
• Serve as the program’s communications liaison, working with Manager to provide leadership with updates on key messages, progress and risks.
• Intake for USUI Program Comms issues/requests
• Where required, support BR team communications from workstreams (guidance, consistency)
Qualifications
• You possess a university degree and minimum of 5+ years of related experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience
• Minimum 5+ or more years of directly related (communications or equivalent) experience, preferably in a large and sophisticated organization
• PROSCI Change Management Certification, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) Designation, or Communications Management Professional (CMP) would be considered an asset
• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies for transformational change programs or projects
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong, positive, and trusting relationships with diverse partners
• Excellent writing, presentation and organizational skills, proficient in using Microsoft Office (Superior PowerPoint skills), SharePoint, Viva Engage and other communication tools and software
