• Manage the annual vendor compliance documentation process, ensuring timely renewal of certifications prior to expiration.
• Collect, organize, review, and maintain vendor documentation, including product specifications, ingredient lists, nutritional panels, allergen declarations, and country of origin records.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding documentation and qualification files for new international and domestic suppliers.
• Support regulatory compliance activities for Canadian food regulations and participate in reviewing food labels.
• Gather and organize required documentation for CFIA, customer, customs, vendor, and internal audit requests.
• Respond to consumer complaints and coordinate resolution by maintaining required records and collaborating with quality assurance and vendors.
• Coordinate food sampling activities in collaboration with operations and marketing teams to support promotional initiatives.
• Maintain accurate vendor and product information in SharePoint, SAP, and designated enterprise systems to ensure complete traceability.
Qualifications
Requirements
• 2 to 3 years of experience in compliance administration, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, vendor management, food import, or distribution.
• Working knowledge of CFIA regulations and Canadian food safety standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint; experience with SAP or ERP systems is considered a strong asset.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory due to regular interactions with international suppliers.
