Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for day-to-day accounting tasks, such as recording invoices, managing payroll, and auditing accounts.
- Closely examine and analyze costs related to production, distribution and operations in order to identify opportunities to reduce expenses.
- Oversee and manage contracts with suppliers, customers and partners to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess and manage financial risks to maintain the company's financial health.
- Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans, including forecasts and financial strategy.
- Participate in the training and development of financial personnel to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Ensure that the company complies with the relevant financial laws and regulations in its areas of activity.
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting
- CPA an asset
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with demonstrated ability to use pivot tables, advanced formulas and macros.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
