In this independent role, you will safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to load and unload LTL freight. You will be responsible for ensuring proper weight distribution, tracking inventory with handheld scanners, and keeping our supply chain moving efficiently.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to move LTL freight across the dock.
Load and unload various types of trailers, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
Work independently to prioritize shipments based on departure times.
Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Identify and report any damaged goods before they are loaded for transport.
Maintain a clean and organized dock floor to ensure a safe transition for the morning crew
Qualifications
Valid Forklift Ticket/Certification (Required).
Must be available for afternoon training before moving to the regular night shift.
1–2 years of experience operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
Previous experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight is a major asset.
Must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility gear.
