Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
As an expert in industrial machinery manufacturing, your days will be rich in learning. This central Welder-Assembler (or MIG Welder, Assembly Welder) role, located on the South Shore of Montreal, will allow you to showcase your hands-on skills:
Read and analyze 2D and 3D assembly blueprints.
Accurately interpret welding symbols and geometric dimensioning.
Prepare parts for welding and perform mechanically welded assemblies, with or without jigs.
Master MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in all positions.
Participate in the installation and repair of equipment at clients' sites.
Ensure the renewal, maintenance, and proper use of your work tools.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement and quality promotion.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Vocational Diploma (DEP) in welding and fitting or a related field.
A minimum of three years of welding experience.
Excellent ability to read and analyze assembly blueprints.
Solid assembly experience, particularly without the use of jigs.
Mastery of MIG (GMAW) and Flux Cored (FCAW) welding; TIG experience is a strong asset.
