Responsibilities
Data Orchestration: Extract, centralize, and harmonize fragmented data from various sources including legacy ERPs, specialized property management software, and complex Excel spreadsheets.
Quality Assurance: Execute rigorous cleaning and validation of financial datasets (rents, collections, construction budgets) to ensure zero-error transition.
ETL Optimization: Utilize Power Query to build robust data transformation pipelines and Power BI to create reconciliation dashboards for project stakeholders.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all handled data adheres to IFRS accounting standards and Law 25 privacy requirements.
Collaborative Liaison: Partner with external consulting firms to align data preparation with the pre-defined technical architecture.
Qualifications
Analytical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Power Query and Power BI is essential for manipulating large, disparate datasets.
ERP Familiarity: Experience with large-scale enterprise software (SAP R3, Oracle, Salesforce, or ServiceNow). Specific knowledge of SAP conversion cycles is a significant asset.
Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of financial data flow, particularly construction budgets, industrial drawings, and real estate accounting.
Domain Knowledge: Previous experience with property management tools (e.g., Hopem) or real estate data is highly preferred.
Compliance Mindset: Familiarity with data integrity laws (Law 25) and international reporting standards (IFRS).
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
