Advantages

Responsibilities
Meet with users to understand their reporting/data requirements.
▪ Generate reports using SQL Server Reporting Services with SQL server and Microsoft SQL Server
Analysis Services as data sources.
▪ Create cubes and dimension data using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and build queries using
MDX.
▪ Build reports for end users and dashboards for the departments in SSRS and Excel.
▪ Support and troubleshoot SQL based Datawarehouse, including SSIS and SSAS
▪ Document and execute unit testing, system integration and provide user acceptance testing support
▪ Help users analyse and interpret the data.
▪ Research questions using available resources.
▪ Identify and escalate complex problems or issues to management.
▪ Stay current with technologies used, system information, changes and updates
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (SQL 2017 or later), including SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS
▪ Advanced T-SQL skills, including DDL and DML queries
▪ Experience with data warehousing concepts and BI solution design and development
JOB DESCRIPTION
▪ Knowledge of dimensional modeling and relational database design techniques
▪ Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI (preferred), and Jet Reports (asset)
▪ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VBA)
▪ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
▪ Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
▪ Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, BI, Data Analytics) are an asset

Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
▪ Occasional movement within the office environment as required
