Responsibilities
• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise architecture for data platforms, integration solutions, and data products.
• Provide architectural guidance in cloud environments for secure data sharing and data linkage capabilities.
• Define and govern enterprise data models, data quality frameworks, metadata standards, and architectural best practices.
• Translate complex business strategies into scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.
• Guide the implementation of data linkages and crosswalk frameworks to ensure consistent and reliable data exchange.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and product teams to review and optimize solution designs and pipelines.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to align business priorities with technology solutions.
Qualifications
• Extensive experience as a Data Architect, supported by a university degree, a related diploma, a certificate, or equivalent long-term professional experience.
• Proven experience explaining complex data principles to clients and stakeholders in a thoughtful and clear manner.
• Strong background defining technical architecture, data integration, and supporting software configuration and deployment.
• Experience modeling complex business processes and translating them into understandable IT constructs.
• Direct experience with modern architectural paradigms like Data Fabric or Data Mesh in an environment of significant size and complexity.
