This role involves close collaboration with domain modelers, standards experts, and stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in health data architecture, metadata modeling, and semantic design, as well as a strong ability to navigate complex healthcare systems and abstract conceptual models.

Responsibilities
Model Development:
Design and evolve a Common Semantic Data Model at both the conceptual and logical levels, covering a growing scope (900+ data elements), ensuring semantic clarity, consistency, and alignment with real-world healthcare concepts, workflows, and terminologies.
Collaboration:
Work with internal and external stakeholders including business SMEs, domain modelers, data architects, and standards developers to gather input and build consensus on the semantic model.
Standards Integration:
Align models with national and international health data standards such as FHIR, HL7 RIM, SNOMED CT, LOINC, OMOP, ISO-11179, and others.
Metadata & Governance:
Participate in metadata modeling, contribute to governance and version control processes, and ensure interoperability, consistency, and data lifecycle considerations are incorporated.
Documentation & Communication:
Create and disseminate architecture artifacts to technical and non-technical audiences and support planning and communication efforts related to data architecture strategies.
Risk Management & Strategy:
Identify architecture risks and contribute to tactical and strategic planning efforts to support scalable, standards-aligned solutions.
Qualifications
•Experience:
o8+ years of experience in data/information architecture, including 5–8 years in data visualization, semantic modeling, and metadata modeling.
oProven track record with health data standards and conceptual/logical data modeling in healthcare or complex domains.
•Technical Skills:
oExpertise in health informatics standards and modeling frameworks (e.g., FHIR, HL7, SNOMED CT, LOINC, OMOP, ISO standards).
oStrong proficiency in data modeling tools and visualization techniques.
oExperience working on technology-agnostic semantic models.
•Soft Skills:
oExcellent communication and collaboration skills.
oComfortable working in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments with ambiguity.
oStrong analytical, abstract thinking, and systems design capabilities.
