In this role, you will be the driving force behind our client's distribution network, seamlessly balancing essential warehouse responsibilities with professional delivery operations. Responsibilities
• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport essential goods and products to designated customer locations.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize daily delivery routes using modern GPS applications to guarantee schedule compliance and reduce fuel consumption.
• Handle physical logistics: load, unload, and securely brace cargo within the vehicle to prevent transport damage.
• Verify the absolute accuracy of delivery contents against physical documents and transport manifests.
• Provide exceptional, polite, and professional customer service during site visits, and collect delivery confirmation signatures.
• Complete all required paperwork, digital forms, and logs accurately.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the vehicle and promptly report any mechanical issues.
• Develop a solid understanding of product lines and execute specialized equipment testing procedures (including DOP and FIT test protocols) after internal training.
• Manage various warehouse duties and other related operational tasks to support the logistics facility.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, warehouse clerk, or a similar role within the manufacturing and logistics sector.
• Valid driver's license accompanied by a demonstrably clean driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of local routes, traffic conditions, and regional geography.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a deep commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Technical aptitude to learn specialized equipment testing (including DOP and FIT protocols).
• High physical endurance for walking, bending, stretching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for tracking electronic forms and generating delivery reports.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
