Responsibilities
Oversee and track all inbound sales inquiries to guarantee prompt communication and accurate system documentation. Execute site assessments and discovery calls to fully grasp the prospect's budget expectations, design preferences, and overarching project challenges. Educate prospective customers on the inherent value of the provided renovation services and industry expertise. Direct clients through the initial design agreements to ensure a highly structured and well-managed transition into the active construction phase. Provide the drafting department with necessary defined inputs prior to the commencement of their as-built drawing work. Craft unique design concepts using information gathered from site tours, as-built drawings, and client consultations while respecting financial boundaries. Host preliminary design meetings to showcase proposed layouts, scopes of work, and cost estimates while carefully capturing customer input. Assemble detailed project handoff materials for the internal drafting crew. Partner with drafting personnel to produce proposal drawings that clearly outline the comprehensive construction scope and match the homeowner's aesthetic vision. Inspect finalized design concepts and drawings to verify they meet functional requirements, project objectives, and general accuracy. Assist in final contract discussions by contributing to design talks, clarifying the scope of work, and answering any client inquiries. Participate actively in weekly team meetings to provide updates regarding current design files, lead status, and client progress.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to perform computer-based tasks for extended periods, including proficiency and comfort working with design software. Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate trust, professionalism, and transparent communication with clients. Comfortable visiting active construction environments, which may expose you to uneven surfaces, dust, and noise, occasionally requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Physical capability to perform occasional light lifting of materials, generally staying under 15 lbs. Aptitude for presenting budget details, project scopes, and proposal drawings in a clear, confident, and professional manner.
