Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Reporting
* lead the full-cycle month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy across all entities
* prepare and present comprehensive monthly management packages, including variance analysis against budgets and historical data
* deliver executive summaries and financial performance insights to the Board of Directors
* manage financial forecasting and provide real-time updates to leadership regarding the company’s fiscal health
Operational Oversight
* direct all treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring, urgent disbursements, and electronic fund transfers (EFT/wire)
* optimize the accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely resolution of overdue items and vendor queries
* oversee complex billing processes and timesheet submissions to ensure seamless revenue recognition
* manage end-to-end payroll administration, including the processing of bonuses, commissions, and vacation accruals
Compliance & Risk Management
* act as the primary point of contact for external auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit process
* maintain strict adherence to bank covenants and prepare quarterly compliance reporting
* ensure all government filings and regulatory requirements are met accurately and on schedule
* monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to contractor management and organizational placements.
Qualifications
* CPA preferred but will also consider other relatable post graduate certifications/degrees
* must be comfortable working in the office 4d/week
* must be a blend of full cycle, hands on operational accounting as well as strategic finance business partner
* must come from the recruitment, staffing, human capital consulting industry
