Responsibilities
What you will do
 Lead the SAP Platform Engineering function, including BASIS, HANA,
cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability
 Define and execute the platform engineering roadmap aligned to
S/4HANA, cloud, and modernization priorities
 Establish and enforce engineering standards, automation (CI/CD), and
operational excellence practices
 Oversee platform performance, availability, and resilience, including
capacity and lifecycle management
 Provide leadership over vendor managed services and multi geo teams
 Partner with application, architecture, and security teams to ensure
alignment across the SAP ecosystem
 Drive continuous improvement and reduction of manual operations
through automation

Qualifications
What you will bring
 5+ years’ experience as a technology leader and with either a business
unit or a technology role 
 5+ years hands-on experience as a BASIS lead or platform engineer,
including S/4HANA and cloud environments
 Strong understanding of SAP on cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

 Proven leadership experience building and leading engineering-focused
teams
 Experience with automation, DevOps practices, and platform
standardization
 Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
 Senior technical leadership experience in complex, regulated
environments. 
 Strong grounding in operational risk management, delivery governance,
and modern engineering practices. 
 Demonstrated ability to influence across teams without relying on formal
authority. 
 A pragmatic, values driven leadership style with a strong sense of
ownership. 
 Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with
candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal
security status that is required as a condition of employment before an
employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites
as outlined by the Government of Canada  website.  The cost of
submitting these checks will be covered by our client
