Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling drivers and equipment for heavy-haul, over-dimensional and specialized freight loads
- Optimize routes and maintain constant communication with drivers
- Negotiate the shipment costs with clients
- Problem solving to resolve operational delays, mechanical issues, and additional roadblocks
- Maintain a positive relationships with all drivers, clients and internal team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dispatcher, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Heavy-Haul, Oversize (OSOW), or Specialized Freight
- Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and calmly under pressure with drivers, regulators, and clients
- Knowledge of or certification in relevant safety standards
- Bilingual French and English
