Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the evening teams, particularly those for dispatch, warehouse, and reception of drivers;
- Ensure effective communication between the different departments;
Participate in the daily operations meeting and implement the game plan established for the evening;
- Make informed decisions and respond quickly to unforeseen situations;
- Complete various reports related to line haul and trailer closures;
- Replace the splitters in case of absence or vacation;
- Any other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar position;
- Excellent understanding of LTL and TL operations;
- Diploma of Collegial Studies, option transport, an asset;
- Bilingualism spoken and written, an asset;
- Ease in the use of various computer software.
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent priority management;
- Interpersonal and tact;
- Be good at interpersonal communication;
- Autonomy and resourcefulness.
