Responsibilities
- Ensure the daily receipt of delivery invoices from the sales department and begin separating the routes for the following day.
- Prepare all transportation
- Verify the availability of labor and the fleet.
- Finalize the distribution/dispatch for the following day.
- Prepare truck loading plans for the warehouse.
- Enter route data into the computer for order output by truck.
- Prepare driver route sheets in Excel.
- Communicate route sheets and undelivered products to the various sales departments.
- Follow up on customer complaints in collaboration with the production department.
- Execute the dispatching of routes by truck.
- Assign routes to delivery drivers and delivery helpers
- Ensure good coordination with the warehouse for the correct loading order of the trucks.
- Filing of inspection sheets and management of gas coupons as needed.
- Transmit truck return information to the various departments—administration, sales, and distribution—according to the needs and pre-established formats of each department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Proven previous experience in a similar job
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Sense of initiative, organization, and priorities
- Autonomous (Self-starter/Independent)
- Ability to work in a team
- French spoken and written
