Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise, and inspire your team of delivery drivers and delivery helpers;
- Coordinate routes, schedules, and priorities—nothing escapes your attention!
- Ensure a high level of customer service: our customers must remember their experience, not their delays;
- Train and integrate new members of your team;
- Support ongoing training and evaluate employee performance (and help them grow!);
- Collaborate with the warehouse, dispatch, sales, and production teams for maximum efficiency;
- Supervise truck maintenance and ensure file compliance according to Law 430 (or Loi 430);
- Participate in resolving HR or operational issues with diplomacy and good judgment;
- Lend a hand on the road if necessary (you're not afraid to get your hands dirty!);
- And above all, keep your team motivated, involved, and proud to deliver the goods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Proven previous experience in a similar job
- Good knowledge of heavy vehicle transport (Class 3 is a plus!);
- Comfortable with TMS/WMS systems
- Ability to work in a team
- Bilingualism (French/English)
