Responsibilities
End-to-End Evidence Management: Lead the identification, preservation, and collection of documents; oversee the review, production, and presentation of evidence for complex litigation.
Trial & Arbitration Strategy: Organize trial exhibits, coordinate expert witnesses, and manage trial notebooks and binders for high-profile hearings.
Strategic Drafting: Produce high-stakes legal documents including pleadings, pre-trial conference memos, Costs Outlines, and Bill of Costs.
Discovery Leadership: Summarize transcripts, manage undertakings/refusals, and assist in the preparation for mediations and motions.
Project Financials: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and budgets for eDiscovery mandates.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of proven success as an eDiscovery Law Clerk or Case Manager within a law firm setting.
Technical Mastery: Advanced experience with eDiscovery databases, specifically Reveal, iPro Eclipse, and Case Centre.
Procedural Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and eDiscovery best practices.
Educational Standing: Law Clerk certification from an accredited institute or commensurate senior-level experience.
Operational Autonomy: A "file-ownership" mindset with the ability to work proactively with lawyers to manage strict court deadlines.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the maturity to interface directly with clients, experts, and all levels of legal professionals.
