Responsibilities
- Integrate the technical scope of the project across multiple engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, process, etc.).
- Guarantee the safe and cost effective solutions are implemented by preparing, revising and approving the technical documentation during the design phase.
- Provide data for the development and approval of budgets and timelines during the design and execution phases.
- Lead the technical expert team by developing and upholding RACI matric for execution of tasks and decision-making.
- Gather relevant data for reporting complex issues, progress and decisions related to project for Program Director and /or other leaders.
- Provide project controls guidance to engineering teams and detect roadblocks and take corrective actions.
- Manage risk, change of scope and provide technical expertise to the project team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or chemical).
- Experience across multiple technical engineering disciplines.
- Experience working in similar role and good understanding of industrial installations in large scale engineering projects.
- Professional certifications (P.Eng. or PMP or other certification) are considered an asset.
- Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD) and Planning software (eg Planisware).
- Knowledge of EHS Standards and industry best practices and legal requirements applicable to Engineering disciplines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Exemplary behaviour towards ethics and integrity and ability to build strong relationships
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
