Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable (AP): Reviewing and coding vendor invoices, ensuring internal approvals, and preparing payment batches.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Issuing accurate customer invoices and ensuring all payments are applied correctly.
- Collections: Managing the aging report and maintaining professional, persistent communication with clients to resolve overdue accounts.
- Data Management: Full utilization of QuickBooks Online to maintain clean and up-to-date financial records.
- Month-End Support: Assisting the finance lead with bank reconciliations and documentation for the month-end close.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently while maintaining high accuracy.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Software: Direct, hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online.
- Core Experience: Proven experience managing the full cycle of AP, AR, and Collections.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry and basic formulas).
- Education: A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Attributes:
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for effective client collections.
- Reliability: Ability to commit to the full 4-month term with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for spotting discrepancies in invoices or reconciliations.
