In this highly visible Equipment Manager position, based out of Winnipeg, you will report directly to the General Manager and work collaboratively with various divisions as well as the public.
This Equipment Manager role is not just about keeping machines running; it involves high-level strategic management, meticulously planning resources, assigning critical tasks, purchasing necessary equipment, training personnel, and providing steadfast guidance to the team to ensure that every single job is completed to the absolute highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and manage the maintenance of all company assets including light vehicles and heavy equipment
- Develop, implement, and manage a documented preventative maintenance program
- Plan and assign resources and manage staff
- Oversee process improvement initiatives and ensuring day-to-day operations are running smoothly
- Assist with annual budgeting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with a mechanical aptitude
- 5+ years in a similar role managing people
- Must be tech-savvy and forward thinking
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think quickly on your feet and a great problem-solver
- Must be ok with the occasional travel within Canada
