Responsibilities
Event & AV Management: Oversee the technical setup and live execution of corporate events, interactive webcasts, and high-profile videoconferences.
Technical Assistance: Deliver exceptional remote, phone, and in-person support to internal users, including executive management, for hardware and software issues.
Hardware & Systems Maintenance: Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and repair workstations, mobile devices, peripherals, and meeting room AV gear.
Ticketing & Incident Management: Log, track, resolve, and escalate service requests accurately within the ticketing system while maintaining operational documentation.
Critical Incident Response: Act promptly during major system outages or urgent operational disruptions to restore service seamlessly.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in software distribution activities and contribute to ongoing IT infrastructure and service delivery projects.
Qualifications
Education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or equivalent formal training in Information Technology.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a desktop, audiovisual, or technical support function.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365. Solid hands-on experience with modern AV setups and platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
Key Competencies: Dedicated customer service approach, outstanding interpersonal skills, methodical problem-solving ability, and composure under tight deadlines.
Physical Capability: Ability to move, configure, and install IT and AV hardware as needed.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
