Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documents for export shipments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipments
- Communicate with clients and carriers by phone and email
- Monitor the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and facilitating on-time delivery.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Provide customers with timely and accurate updates on their shipments, including any changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Experience preferably from a Freight Forwarder, 3PL, Trucking or Shipping line experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task time sensitive issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized, ability to handle stress & meet tight deadlines
