Responsibilities
The main tasks of the service technician in industrial mechanics specialized in industrial separators and centrifuges include:
-coordinating and performing the installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of new separators and decanters at client sites
-performing accurate diagnostics, emergency interventions, and warranty work using electrical, mechanical, digital, and pneumatic controls
-traveling to client sites while strictly respecting safety procedures and collecting technical data using adapted measurement instruments
-training clients as well as employees on the optimal use of equipment and general system maintenance
-keeping repair records up to date, preparing parts lists, and proposing improvements for product and service tool development
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this service technician position in industrial mechanics must possess:
-a diploma of vocational studies in industrial mechanics or electromechanics and automated systems, or equivalent
-a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the maintenance of similar industrial equipment
-fluent bilingualism in both speaking and writing to communicate effectively with English-speaking clients, suppliers, and manufacturers
-a valid passport, eligibility to work in Canada, and high flexibility to travel to the United States
-solid technical knowledge applied to centrifuge and industrial separator systems
