This position is intended for an action-oriented professional capable of transforming the finance function. You will have the mandate to structure the accounting department, ensure full adoption of new technological tools (ERP and AI-based automation), and become a key strategic partner for senior management. Responsibilities
As a Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Digital Transformation and Processes: Drive financial process optimization, review and standardize processes across business units, and collaborate with the team on cross-functional activity management (implementing a Shared Services model for divisions). You will be responsible for the full adoption and optimal use of the new ERP. You will guide teams in using artificial intelligence solutions to automate low-value-added tasks and increase data accuracy.
- Management and Leadership: Supervise and mobilize the accounting team. You will foster the professional development of your team members to support the company’s growth.
- Corporate Finance: Ensure the rigorous production of financial statements, lead the budgeting process, and design strategic dashboards for senior management.
- Treasury and Taxation: Act as the point of contact for tax optimization and banking relations.
- External Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax specialists, and other external parties.
Qualifications
For this Finance Director position, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- CPA professional designation required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including solid experience in team management.
- Demonstrated experience in ERP implementation or management and a genuine interest in automation (AI, BI tools).
- Ability to work in a dynamic, changing, and growing environment.
- Rigor, political acumen, pedagogical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written (the company has international operations).
