As a Risk Analyst - Expert, you will split your responsibilities evenly between supporting Project Tempo and executing BAU control testing. You will act as a pivotal link between internal Risk Management lines of business and external auditing partners (PwC) to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of newly implemented regulatory controls.

Responsibilities
Project Tempo Support & QA (50%)
•Coordinate between external audit partners (PwC) and internal Risk Management business partners throughout the control testing lifecycle.
•Collect and organize control documentation, process Requests for Information (RFIs), and facilitate walkthrough meetings.
•Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews on testing results provided by external auditors, issue sign-offs, and assist in resolving identified gaps.
•Track project deliverables and timelines to ensure milestone deadlines are met.
BAU Control Testing (50%)
•Conduct end-to-end control testing for non-project regulatory and operational controls.
•Perform walkthroughs, analyze RFIs, and complete standard testing templates to assess control design and operating effectiveness.
•Collaborate directly with business partners to address control gaps and implement process enhancements.
Qualifications
Requirements:
•5–7+ years of professional experience in risk management, internal audit, or regulatory compliance within financial services.
•Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in internal audit, control advisory, and control testing methodologies.
•In-depth understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, regulatory compliance requirements, and control design evaluation.
•Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Asset/Preferred:
•Professional accounting or audit designations (CPA, CIA, CFA, or equivalent) are strongly preferred.
Summary
Senior Risk & Audit Specialist with 6+ years of experience leading control testing, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation in top-tier financial institutions. Proven track record in conducting end-to-end control evaluations, managing external audit relationships (including Big Four partners), and ensuring alignment with complex regulatory governance frameworks.
