Title: Financial Analyst - Inventory
Location: Montreal (hybrid)
Salary: Up to $45/hour depending on experience
Duration: 8 to 10 months, possibility of extension and permanence

Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst - Inventory will have the following responsibilities:
- Maintain and control the inventory system;
- Adjust raw material inventory using the weighted average cost method;
- Produce analyzes of inventory rotation, obsolescence, breakage and compile the results;
- Collaborate with the different teams to ensure that financial reporting is adequate;
- Identify and resolve inventory-related discrepancies;
- Prepare journal entries related to inventory;
- Evaluate inventories at their fair value at the end of the financial year;
- Actively participate in the end-of-year audit, including providing supporting documents to the auditors for everything related to inventory;
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications
We are looking for the following qualifications for this role of Financial Analyst - Inventory:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting;
- CPA or ACCA title, a strong asset;
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role;
- Excellent communication skills in French and English;
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution company;
- Mastery of technological tools, such as Power BI as well as advanced Excel functions.
